Clyde Shelton family is brutally murdered. The people responsible are caught. However, because of improper procedure, DA Nick Rice had only circumstantial evidence. So he decided to get one of them to testify against the other. When Shelton knew about it, he was not happy. Ten years later, the person found guilty of being implemented but something happened; execution goes awry and he suffered. They know that someone tampered with the machine. And another found dead, killed gruesome. Ross Shelton suspect, so she increased her. Initially, Shelton agreed to a plea agreement with Rice, but changed his opinion. Shelton apparently not, he seems to blame the entire system and will be having declared war on the familys involved in his case. So Ross has to stop him but Shelton is way ahead of him.
